Our June meeting was held with beautiful, although hazy skies. Winds started out at 5.5 mph and freshened to about 10 mph. With only 3 skippers present, the racing proceeded quickly and the competition completed by 12:30 pm.

Bill finished the day with 7-1st place finishes and Pip had 3 bullets. Pip sailed aggressively and kept Bill on his toes.

Gary raced each race, and usually crossed the finish before the start of the next heat! Bill was quick to notice the coat of dust on Gary's boat, suggesting that if it were used more often, it might not get dusty and perhaps go faster! Next month we have a late sailing date again, July 26, so be sure and mark your calendar and come on out to the lake.
