The races on November 17 marked the end of the 2007 season
and were held under nearly ideal conditions. We were fortunate that John Ebey
was able to join us and once again provide an example of skill and strategy.
John posted 8 first place finishes for an overall score of 12. Pip and Steve
tied for second with 25 points apiece. Gary
placed fourth with 41 points. It should be noted that Bill did not race a 914
because of a frozen sail servo and raced an odom instead.
Bill, however, did finish the 2007 season in first place
winning the club championship. Pip won second place and Steve third.
For 2008, Bill will remain as Commodore with Steve as
Vice Commodore and Gary
retaining his duties as Secretary/Webmaster. Over the winter, everyone will be
repairing and tuning their rigs in anticipation of the new season that will
begin in March. Hopefully, we will be able to encourage others to join and make
next season even more competitive
